Continuation of Training Seminars: "Effective Implementation of Environmental Regulatory Requirements in Oil and Gas Industrial Sector of Turkmenistan (1998)".
This Project ESI performed under the Contract with Academy for
Educational Development within the frame of the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID) "Global Development Training
Program". The Project was included in that Program upon the Government of
Turkmenistan request after completion of the previous training courses.
The two 5-day training seminars were designed and conducted in accordance with the country officials’ requirements. The topics of these seminars included:
Environmental Monitoring Programs and Systems in Oil and Gas Industrial Sector of Turkmenistan in Accordance with Article 45 of the Turkmenistan Law "On Hydrocarbon Resources Use";
Environmental Enforcement and Audit in Oil and Gas Industrial Sector of Turkmenistan.
After completion of these seminars, the trainees were awarded with certificates issued jointly by USAID, Academy for Educational Development, and
ESI.
